 NeoGenomics is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer who wants to learn to continue to learn in order to allow our company to grow. This is remote position with a Monday – Friday day shift.

  Position Summary:
 As a Sr. Software Engineer, under supervision of software engineering leadership, you will performs software development, enhancement and support using core technologies, including C# .Net. You will focus on the development and work processes for billing & revenue cycle systems.
  Responsibilities:
 
  Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices, which includes:
  
   
    Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
    Maintaining, expanding, and scaling enterprise level software
    Creating and maintaining software documentation
    Coordination with leads, architects and senior developers to meet functional requirements, and/or UI/UX designers to match visual design intent
   
  Serve as lead on small to mid-sized solution teams: Responsible for maintaining solution integrity
  
   
    Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to other team resources
    Responsible for implementing multi-layered software architecture design changes, technical design, creation of, and assignment of development tasks
    Responsible for developing and following project schedules, plans, status reporting and timelines
    Design and conduct training plans for end-users
    Design and build complex component and business logic functionality: Conversion of User and Software Requirement specifications into final code solutions for complex components and units of business logic managing inter solution dependencies
   
 
 Education, Experience & Qualifications
 
  Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development. Laboratory, medical or health care environment a plus.
  Knowledgeable of and have demonstrable experience in C#, .NET development of Window Client applications, Python, or similar framework development, Web services/Web API and Windows Services
  Expertise in healthcare billing, reimbursement, and RCM systems strongly preferred
  Experience with SQL required.
  Experienced in using fundamental concepts related to RDBMS, Object Oriented Programming
  Experience with web application development, build systems (npm, gulp, webpack), SPA frameworks (angularjs, react, vuejs), and modern JavaScript programming techniques
  Experience with version control systems (git, BitBucket, Mercurial)
  Experience working on teams and developing large scale applications
  Experience building functional solutions using more than one of the following: Python MVC, RPC, Angular, Vue, JavaScript, React, .NET MVC; Entity Framework, REST
  Capable of demonstrating proper unit and integration test design and implementation
