Responsibilities Drive key business outcomes for suite of SAS products through high-quality software development and optimization. Collaborate closely with customers, product managers, designers, and developers to translate business needs into scalable product requirements and specifications. Research and integrate emerging technologies into software applications to enhance performance and capabilities. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment processes to maintain high software reliability and scalability. Requirements Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative field plus 2 years' software development experience, or, Bachelor's in Computer Science, Mathematics, or closely related quantitative field plus 5 years' software development experience. Requires 2 years' experience in: Python; Django and RESTful frameworks; PostgreSQL database framework and AWS cloud architecture; researching, training, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing machine learning models; utilizing Natural Language Processing and Optical Character Recognition to extract and interpret large quantities of mortgage document data; and React and NodeJS. Requires experience with: utilizing Explainable AI/Interpretable AI to handle sensitive mortgage industry data in a transparent manner; developing real-time asset pricing engines; statistical modeling and classificaton methods; coalesce multiple AI technologies into a single workflow; Agile development methodologies and best practices; and, the mortgage industry, mortgage servicing rights, the mortgage asset trading market, and the loan origination life cycles. May permit telecommuting.
