Position: Sr. AWS Data Engineer
Location: Remote with occasional travel to NOLA
Duration: 6+ Months (Contract through end of year)

Must Have:
Senior-level expertise with excellent communication skills
Ability to support the Supply Chain organization

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sr. AWS Data Engineer to lead the migration of legacy Linux-based ETL jobs into scalable, AWS-native pipelines. This role involves designing, building, and optimizing workflows using Python, PySpark, Lambda, Airflow, and Snowflake, while ensuring high performance, cost efficiency, and data quality.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:
12+ years of data engineering experience (3+ in AWS)
Strong Linux-based ETL background with migration experience
Expertise in Python, PySpark, SQL, AWS Glue, Lambda, EMR, S3, Step Functions, and Airflow
Snowflake integration and optimization experience
CI/CD, IaC, and DevOps best practices knowledge
Preferred: Terraform/CloudFormation, Kafka/Kinesis, ML pipelines
