Job Description: OverviewWe are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that enhance our IT infrastructure and meet the needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, web development, and application development, with expertise in various programming languages and frameworks.
Responsibilities
 Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C#, and other programming languages as needed.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software products.
 Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between different systems and applications.
 Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
 Maintain existing codebases using version control systems such as GitHub and SVN.
 Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
 Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews.
 Work with databases such as MySQL and SQL to manage data effectively.
 Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

 Proficiency in software development with experience in languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, C++, or C.
 Familiarity with web development frameworks like React Express and .NET.
 Strong understanding of IT infrastructure concepts and cloud services (AWS or Azure).
 Experience working with RESTful APIs and application development methodologies.
 Knowledge of Agile practices and experience working in an Agile environment.
 Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
 Familiarity with Linux operating systems is preferred.
 Understanding of RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) principles is a plus.
