Mid-Level Software Developer (AI & Startups)

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility)

Golden Hour Pools is more than a pool company — we’re a fast-growing startup using AI, automation, and data to reinvent how construction is managed. Our 7-person full-time team is building the systems that power our rapid expansion across Texas, and we’re looking for a mid-level software developer who’s passionate about AI and startups to help us take things to the next level.

The Role

As a Software Developer, you’ll:

Build and scale internal tools that make our operations faster and smarter (Airtable, custom dashboards, workflow automations).
Work with APIs, databases, and integrations (PostgreSQL, Prisma, Airtable) to connect everything from construction timelines to finances.
Develop AI-driven workflows to automate scheduling, reporting, and customer communication.
Collaborate directly with our small, fast-moving team — your work will have a direct impact from day one.
Help shape our internal AI-powered command center that runs the business.
What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of software development experience.
Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar.
Hands-on experience with Airtable, APIs, or workflow automation tools.
Curiosity and passion for AI/LLMs (e.g., GPT, LangChain, vector databases).
Startup mindset — comfortable with speed, ambiguity, and building MVPs that evolve quickly.
Bonus: experience with databases (Postgres), cloud services (AWS/GCP), or construction/ops tech.
