Job Summary
We are seeking two Senior Software Engineers – Android Mobile with strong expertise in Kotlin and Android native development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable mobile applications, with a strong focus on Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for cross-platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
 Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and KMP.
 Lead feature teams and provide technical leadership for mobile development initiatives.
 Architect scalable mobile solutions using MVVM/MVI patterns and Android Architecture Components (e.g., Jetpack Compose, Data Binding).
 Implement advanced features including multithreading, Coroutines/RxJava, caching (Room/SQLite), REST APIs/GraphQL integration, and push notifications.
 Contribute to SDK and library development with focus on usability and reliability.
 Perform unit testing and automated testing using frameworks such as Espresso.
 Integrate 3rd-party SDKs, APIs, and services (e.g., Google Maps, analytics, crash reporting).
 Package, publish, and maintain applications on Google Play Store.
 Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum/SAFe environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.
 Utilize DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, Jenkins, Dynatrace for CI/CD and monitoring.
 Stay current with latest mobile technology trends and best practices.

Required Qualifications

 6+ years’ experience in software development, with expertise in multiple languages and methodologies.
 5+ years of hands-on Android native application development (Kotlin, Java).
 Proven experience in Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) development.
 Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical ideas into business terms.
 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience/certification.

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience developing apps for large-scale, critical user bases.
 Background in SDK/library development.
 Proficiency in multithreading, data modeling, storage solutions, and networking.
 Knowledge of Android Wear technologies.
 Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
 Contributions to open-source projects.
 Relevant technical certifications.
 Experience with publishing apps on Google Play Store.
 Strong understanding of mobile and web technology trends.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
