The Senior Software Engineer plays an essential role in developing new software features and exploring advanced technologies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Write and test code through unit and integration tests to deliver new features and enhancements. Triage and correct software bugs to improve quality. Participate in agile practices including daily standups, backlog grooming and user story estimation. Participate in release activities including deployment and verification of production environments. Assist in resolving production outages or code issues to ensure stability and continuity of business. Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and security standards are achieved. Participate in establishing company standards and best practices. Mentor peers to improve quality, velocity, and to train new technologies. Work with peers and management team to analyze complex business problems to recommend and implement technology solutions. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, patterns, and best practices. Prior experience with Testing frameworks (i.e. Spock, Junit5 or Mockito), AWS or equivalent cloud service providers, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine Learning (ML) preferred.
