Job Description: North Ridge Consulting (NRC) is an Executive Management Consulting firm based out of California. Join our team of experts in providing Expert Consulting Services to our State & Local Government Clients
Location: Remote
Project: State Department (Public Sector). Client in California located in Sacramento, CA
Type: Full Time
Mandatory Requirements:RQ 1: Each resource must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience, within the past ten (10) years, developing Java EE applications utilizing all the following frameworks/technologies:
a. Java Server Page
b. Enterprise Java Beans
c. Java Message Service
d. Spring framework
e. Hibernate
f. JasperReport g. Java Persistence API 2
RQ 2: Each resource must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience, within the past seven (7) years, working with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform.
RQ 3: Each resource must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience, within the past ten (10) years, developing technical design documents.
RQ 4: Each resource must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience, within the past seven (7) years, working with Java EE/PL/SQL
RQ 5: Each resource must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience, within the past five (5) years, working with Oracle 12c or higher version, developing and enhancing PL/SQL packages and procedures.
RQ 6: Each resource must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience, within the past seven (7) years, providing mentorship, knowledge transfer, code review, and training to employee resources.
DQ 1: Resources have two (2) years of experience working with the similar systems, applications, databases, and interfaces. If providing a similar experience, describe the system and services provided.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain solutions to meet the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top10 standards to defend against the most common types of web application security risks.
B. Developed code must have the ability to run against software tools, including but not limitedto: SonarQube, Programming Mistake Detector (PMD, SpotBugs, and CheckStyle to ensure adherence to DOJ security standards.
C. Support, manage, and enhance the existing continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
D. Develop unit and integration tests utilizing JUnits and Mockito frameworks.
E. Develop an automation suite for all major functionalities to ensure regression test applications, features, and performance are completed within scheduled time frames.
F. Ensure developed code should have an “A” grade when scanned through SonarQube for bugs, vulnerabilities, and code smells.
G. Resolve defects using configuration management tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, etc.) and processes.
H. Develop documentation for the Java code so tools (such as Swagger) can be used to extract the documentation.
I. Develop and document conventions and methodologies for UI and service layer in Confluence team workspace for developers to understand the principles behind the architecture and design.

Physical Requirements & Disclaimer:
