This initiative focuses on maintaining and enhancing critical enterprise systems, CI/CD capabilities, and application development environments. As a key member of the development team, you will work within an Integrated Project Team (IPT) alongside federal staff and other contractors, following an iterative development lifecycle. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring software configuration management, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and minimizing technical risk across multiple releases. This position is fully remote and candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate software configuration management across multiple releases. Develop and implement integrated systems infrastructure and related management processes. Support CI/CD initiatives including automated compilation, testing, and deployment. Conduct backlog grooming, delivery automation, and configuration upgrades. Minimize program risk by ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and extensible. Document standard operating procedures for integration and development activities. Apply deep knowledge of enterprise tax processing systems and modernization efforts. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on systems software. U.S. Citizenship (required for clearance). Ability to pass a Public Trust investigation. Strong experience with: Java (Java EE/SE), JSP, JSF, Hibernate Web services and SOA architecture Oracle 10g/11g and RAC Middleware rules engines (e.g., Drools) CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) Agile/Scrum development environments Cloud development, containerization (Docker, OpenShift) Cybersecurity best practices and FISMA compliance Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. Prior clearance with federal agencies. Experience in a senior development or technical leadership role.
