Role: Senior Java Architect – eCommerce | 
Location: Remote-first (Greater Toronto Area). In-office presence required 1 day/month.
We’re hiring a Senior Java Architect to lead the design and development of a modern, cloud-native eCommerce platform that supports millions of users and powers core capabilities like customer management, order processing, and online retail experiences.If you've architected high-traffic, transactional retail platforms — this is where you’ll thrive.
What You Bring:10+ years of hands-on Java/JEE development experience.5+ years with Spring Boot and microservices frameworks.Deep knowledge of cloud-native architecture (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven design.Retail and eCommerce background – you know the difference between cart abandonment and conversion optimization.Proven leadership — mentoring developers and influencing decision-makers.Familiarity with SQL & NoSQL databases, Git/Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines.Expertise in application security, scalability, and performance tuning.Agile mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
