SEVEN Networks is at the forefront of privacy-focused technology, specializing in innovative ad-blocking solutions that enhance the Android user experience. As we continue to grow, we're seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our mission of building next-generation privacy protection tools.
The Role
As a Senior Android Engineer, you'll shape the future of mobile ad-blocking technology while leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior developers. This position offers the perfect blend of hands-on development and technical leadership in a remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
 Drive the architecture and development of sophisticated Android applications using Kotlin and Java, with occasional C/C++ components
 Lead technical initiatives within our agile team to advance our ad-blocking capabilities
 Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and supporting their career development
 Design and implement robust, scalable solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives
 Champion code quality through architectural best practices, code reviews, and process improvements
 Collaborate across teams to guide projects from conception through deployment

Required Qualifications

 7+ years of software engineering experience
 5+ years of Android development expertise
 3+ years of professional Kotlin development
 Deep understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI)
 Strong foundation in data structures and Android framework internals
 Excellence in technical communication and mentorship

Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with C/C++ and Assembly language
 Background in reverse engineering
 iOS or cross-platform development experience
 Previous work with ad-blocking or privacy-focused technologies
