As our Senior .NET Developer, you will play a key role on a small, agile development team responsible for designing and implementing new product features, building and maintaining Web APIs and third-party integrations, and troubleshooting and resolving software issues. You will also be tasked with maintaining and improving our existing codebase, as well as refactoring legacy components to align with modern architectures and technologies across our suite of products. This position reports directly to the Manager of Software Development. Responsibilities: Work in an agile environment to develop, test, and maintain applications Work closely with product owners to effectively manage all stages of application lifecycle management from inception to launch to release management to modernization and culminating with application retirement. Ability to work within a team environment with strong collaboration, but also able to work as an independent contributor when needed. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code Work with teammates in the migration of older applications from VB.net and Web Forms Maintain and develop new features to internal and externally facing applications to enhance the customer experience. Troubleshooting and production support of client issues Requirements: Prior experience creating reliable, scalable and performant applications based on an Object Oriented development language. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills At least 6 years working with C# and MVC At least 6 years MS SQL experience; Solid Understanding of relational databases, including stored procedures, views and triggers Experience with ASP.NET Web API, JSON, XML Experience administrating and using version control systems, preferably Git; Experience developing and maintaining Windows services Knowledge/experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) Experience with web applications with an emphasis on usability, performance, and scalability. Familiarity with HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular Ability to write clean, documented, and standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments. Comfortable working independently with minimal managerial oversight or team support; self-motivated and proactive in solving problems REMOTE ROLE - This role is remote, expected to work ET time zone hours. Salary offered is based on experience and location.
