Job Description: Teach JavaScript – Empower the Next Generation of Young Coders!Learn2Code.Live offers engaging, hands-on coding classes for K–12 students in an in-person classroom environment. We’re seeking energetic and knowledgeable JavaScript Instructors in San Jose, CA to help students create their first programs, games, and interactive projects.
If you love programming and enjoy sharing your knowledge, this is a fantastic opportunity. All curriculum and lesson plans are provided—allowing you to focus on guiding, inspiring, and mentoring students as they learn to code.
Key Responsibilities
 Teach JavaScript classes using a pre-designed, structured curriculum
 Deliver fun, project-based lessons that make programming concepts engaging and practical
 Support students as they design, code, test, and debug their projects
 Adjust your teaching approach for different age groups and learning styles
 Build a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
 Track student progress and give constructive feedback
 Communicate with parents, school staff, and Learn2Code.Live team members when needed
 Run your classes independently while maintaining a productive learning atmosphere

You’re a Great Fit If You:

 Have a solid understanding of JavaScript and web development basics
 Are a student, recent graduate, or professional in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
 Are passionate, patient, and enthusiastic about teaching kids
 Are reliable, organized, and confident leading small groups
 Have prior experience teaching, tutoring, or mentoring (a plus, but not required)
 Feel comfortable using technology and helping students troubleshoot basic coding issues
