Now, we’re bringing that same mindset to our internal operations — and we’re looking for a Junior JavaScript Developer to help us build out our custom software tools. Duties/ Responsibilities Develop and maintain JavaScript applications using React (front end) and Node.js (back end). Design and implement API integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms. Work with JSON, REST APIs, and authentication methods (API tokens, webhooks). Collaborate with stakeholders and senior developers to deliver scalable, reliable solutions. Debug and enhance existing applications and integrations. Gain exposure to legacy systems built with AngularJS (1.x). Contribute to documentation and integration best practices. Required Skills/Abilities: NON-SAFETY SENSITIVE – employee only performs non-DOT related functions. Hands-on experience with React and familiarity with Node.js. Experience working with RESTful APIs and system integrations. Understanding of relational databases and data modeling. Proficiency with version control tools like Git/GitHub. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Experience: 1–3 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Bonus: Familiarity with Quickbase or other low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Airtable, Power Apps).
