Laurus College is looking for a DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between software development and IT operations. This is a key engineering position for a skilled professional who has mastered CI/CD principles and is ready to drive automation across the institution. Your U-Lead Role: How You’ll Make an Impact As the DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and pipelines that support our software development lifecycle. You will be a champion for automation, ensuring our development teams can deliver high-quality applications quickly and reliably, from code commit to production deployment. Mentor & Guide: Champion DevOps best practices across the organization, documenting automation processes and standards to enable other teams to build and deploy with confidence. Empower & Equip: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to automate the build, testing, and deployment of applications and infrastructure. Foster Community: Collaborate closely with development and IT operations teams to break down silos, streamline workflows, and create a seamless software delivery lifecycle. Champion Success: Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure the health, security, and performance of our cloud environment. Innovate & Collaborate: Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to create consistent, repeatable, and secure cloud environments in Azure. Drive Results: Write clean, efficient scripts and serverless functions (e.g., Azure Function Apps) using Python and C# to automate operational tasks and integrate systems. The U-Lead Mindset - What You Bring to Our Community Required Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role. Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, App Services, and Azure SQL. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python or C#. Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment. Strong understanding of SQL and database management in a cloud context. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform). Experience with serverless technologies, specifically Azure Function Apps.
