Job Description: OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and visualization, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role is critical in supporting decision-making processes across various departments by providing data-driven recommendations and reports.
Duties
 Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies.
 Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data effectively.
 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project objectives.
 Participate in Agile project management methodologies to facilitate timely delivery of data analysis projects.
 Conduct ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into databases.
 Utilize programming languages such as R and Python for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
 Design and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database management systems.
 Apply business analysis techniques to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
 Document processes using tools like Visio to create clear visual representations of workflows and system designs.

Skills

 Proficient in SQL for querying databases and performing data manipulation tasks.
 Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
 Experience with Agile methodologies and project management principles.
 Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
 Competence in programming languages including R, Python, VBA, and Bash (Unix shell).
 Understanding of ETL tools like Talend for efficient data integration.
 Ability to design effective databases that support business operations.
 Excellent analytical skills with a focus on deriving insights from complex datasets.
