ArchitectureLead the architectural design and implementation of complex frontend systems and components across Nexla's data integration platformDrive technical decisions for frontend architecture, including state management, component design patterns, performance optimization, and scalability strategiesEstablish and champion engineering best practices, coding standards, and development workflows for the frontend teamMentor and guide senior engineers, providing technical direction and fostering a culture of engineering excellenceProduct DevelopmentBuild sophisticated, intuitive user interfaces for complex data integration workflows, making enterprise-grade capabilities accessible to both technical and non-technical usersDesign and implement interactive data visualization components, real-time monitoring dashboards, and collaborative data management interfacesDevelop responsive, accessible, and performant web applications that handle large-scale data operations and complex user workflowsPartner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless end-to-end user experiencesArchitect reusable component libraries and design systems that scale across multiple product areas and teamsImplement robust error handling, loading states, and edge case management for mission-critical data operationsBuild sophisticated drag-and-drop interfaces, visual pipeline builders, and no-code/low-code development experiencesOptimize application performance for handling large datasets, real-time updates, and complex data transformationsTeam Impact & CollaborationLead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with Backend, DevOps, and AI teams to deliver integrated solutionsDrive technical roadmap planning and contribute to product strategy decisions from a frontend perspectiveConduct thorough code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and contribute to hiring and onboarding processesRepresent frontend engineering in architectural discussions and technical planning sessionsInnovation & Continuous ImprovementResearch and evaluate emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance our development capabilitiesLead initiatives to improve developer experience, build tooling, and engineering productivityDrive improvements in application security, accessibility, and performance monitoringRequired QualificationsExperience & Technical Expertise8+ years of frontend development experience with deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and web technologies5+ years experience with React, including advanced patterns like hooks, context, state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, etc.)3+ years in a senior or staff-level role with demonstrated technical leadership experienceStrong proficiency in modern CSS, responsive design, and frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.)Technical SkillsExpert-level knowledge of JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practicesDeep understanding of React ecosystem, including state management, routing, testing frameworks, and performance optimizationExperience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts) and building complex, interactive visualizationsProficiency in frontend testing strategies including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testingStrong understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and SEO best practicesArchitecture & LeadershipProven experience architecting large-scale frontend applications and component-based design systemsStrong understanding of API integration, RESTful services, GraphQL, and real-time data handling (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events)Experience with micro-frontend architectures, module federation, or similar distributed frontend patternsDemonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical standards across teamsDomain KnowledgeExperience building complex enterprise applications,
