And it means working collaboratively with a broad range of people both inside and outside the company.AS A SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT, YOU WILL :Be a technical expert on all aspects of SnowflakeGuide customers through the process of building applications on Snowflake and develop methodologies to improve the application development processDeploy Snowflake following best practices, including ensuring knowledge transfer so that customers are properly enabled and are able to extend the capabilities of Snowflake on their ownWork hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices on Snowflake technologyMaintain deep understanding of existing application development frameworks and how to position and rationalize Snowflake in relation to themWork with System Integrator consultants at a deep technical level to successfully position and deploy Snowflake in customer environmentsProvide guidance on how to resolve customer-specific technical challengesCollaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve Snowflake’s products and marketing and offer support to other members of the Professional Services team develop their expertiseOUR IDEAL SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT WILL HAVE :BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent practical experience6+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales and post-sales technical roles, including a track record of success selling data and/or analytics software to enterprise customers and identifying/presenting information to key stakeholders and both technical and non-technical audiencesHands-on experience with Snowflake’s core platform, Streamlit, native apps framework, and Snowpark container servicesHands-on experience  of full-stack development, from backend development to front-end UI/UX design, as well as experience in data engineeringKnowledge of data formats or languages that manage data including SQL, JSON, and PythonProficiency in Agile DevDps and DataOps practices using Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and Database Change Management (e.g. Liquibase, Flyway) and relevant tooling (e.g. Terraform)Ability and flexibility to travel to work with customers on-siteBONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING :Experience building applications on multiple target platforms and frameworks in one or more of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCS) and working knowledge of application frameworks like Node.js, React, Flask, Django, Ruby, Force.com, Angular, or SpringSoftware development experience with Java, .NET, and Python and scripting experience with Python, Powershell, BashKnowledge of platform and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Experience with Open Data table formats like Iceberg and data processing engines like Spark is a plusWorking knowledgeable of Generative AI, ML model development, MLOpsWHY JOIN OUR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES TEAM AT SNOWFLAKE?Unique opportunity to work on a truly disruptive software productGet unique, hands-on experience with bleeding edge data warehouse technologyDevelop, lead and execute an industry-changing initiativeLearn from the best!
