We do this by making digital advertising markets and technologies that are designed to deliver optimal value to publishers and advertisers on every ad served across all screens.At OpenX, we have built a team that is uniquely experienced in designing and operating high-scale ad marketplaces, and we are constantly on the lookout for thoughtful, creative executors who are as fascinated as we are about finding new ways to apply a blend of market design, technical innovation, operational excellence, and empathetic partner service to the frontiers of digital advertising.Currently, we’re looking for a Software Development Engineer IV - Test who will join one of our full-stack teams to help define, create, and deliver innovative new features that bring advanced digital advertising functionality to publishers and advertisers on the Open Web.The team is using the following technologies:Frontend: JS/TS, React, Material UIAPI: Javascript/Python, GraphQL/RESTBackend: Python, Java, GoCICD: Google Cloud Build, Spinnaker Infrastructure: Google Cloud PlatformWe are using the Scrum framework with an open-minded attitude to adapt the process to our needs.  Within the team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with developers and other SDETs focusing on different domains (both frontend and backend), as well as be a part of the QA Guild focusing on making impactful changes to our tools and processes.Key responsibilities:Work in a focused and nimble team that collaborates on common problems across products and across focus areas.Own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.Monitor and maintain CI pipelines, and collaborate on CD enablement.Conduct root cause analysis of issues and provide solutions for better coverage and maintainability.Effectively communicate and participate as a crucial member of both the DevEx team and QA organization.Participate in the design and implementation of automation strategies, frameworks, and infrastructure.Set and drive coding standards.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in test automation, development, and CI/CD.Focus on TestOps and DevOps practices to support testing infrastructure, developer productivity, and deployment workflows.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to enhance the developer experience and streamline software delivery.Apply and explore AI tools and test strategies to improve automation and testing efficiency.Required experience:5+ years of test automation experienceProficiency in Python or Go or JavaScriptWillingness to work with new programming languages and technologiesAbility to improve, debug, and maintain an automation framework codebaseStrong knowledge of software development methodologies, testing techniques, and quality assurance principlesCI/CD tools like Jenkins or SpinnakerExcellent troubleshooting skills to triage complex issuesProven leadership and mentoring abilities, with a track record of driving continuous improvement and innovationExperience improving TestOps and DevOps practices across teamsExcellent collaboration skills, with a focus on improving developer experienceDesirable experience:Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Kubernetes, and DockerScaling SDLC processes across teamsUI/UX and API (full stack) testingTest frameworks: Pytest, Cypress, Go, PlaywrightAdvertising technologies and the advertising ecosystemApplication developmentStrategies for AI model testingPursuant to any state, local ordinance, or local hiring regulations, we will consider for employment any qualified applicant, including those with arrest and conviction records, in a manner consistent with the applicable regulation. OpenX is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
