You seek more than a job; you seek a calling—a chance to make a lasting impact on the digital landscape.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Work within our hybrid business hours (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST) to engineer production-quality codeArchitect, design, and implement robust microservices using Java Spring BootDevelop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs with focus on scalability and reliabilityBuild and optimize event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka producers and consumersDesign and implement event streaming solutions for real-time data processingCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade backend solutionsWork with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage servicesImplement best practices for microservices communication and data consistencyDesign and maintain high-performance, low-latency, and high-availability distributed systemsWork with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure optimal data storage and retrievalImplement comprehensive monitoring and observability solutionsEnsure security best practices including data encryption and secure API designTroubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed event-driven systemsREQUIREMENTS5+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworkDeep experience with Apache Kafka including producers, consumers, and event-driven architecture patternsStrong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems designProficiency in RESTful API development with focus on performance and scalabilityExperience with event streaming platforms and message queue technologiesSolid understanding of database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL)Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud deployment strategiesExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesStrong understanding of security principles and data protection best practicesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environmentsExperience building high-availability, low-latency systemsBONUS POINTS FOR:Experience in the financial services industryCloud platform certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)Knowledge of monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus)Experience with big data processing frameworksFamiliarity with AI/ML integration in backend systemsWhy Choose TribalScaleAt TribalScale, collaboration is at the heart of our innovative approach.
