📋 Description
• Join Verdance and help build digital services so government can work for everyone.
• In this role, you’ll design and build critical government digital services.
• At first, you'll work with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid.
• You’ll join a cross-functional, dynamic team building critical healthcare APIs.

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Some Java/SpringBoot experience
• Substantial experience with a modern dynamic language like Ruby, Python, or JavaScript, and enthusiasm to pick up new tools and languages as needed
• Experience writing efficient, maintainable code
• Desire to work at a small company focused on thoughtful growth
• Curiosity, scrappiness, patience, and humility

• Healthcare experience or knowledge of the FHIR standard a big plus
• Understanding of unit testing, CI/CD, and cloud services
• Some infrastructure experience a plus—the team deploys in AWS and uses Terraform and Aurora
• Any full-stack Rails experience or frontend experience a plus—the team maintains a Rails documentation/onboarding app along with the backend systems
• Desire to learn about government and help make it better
