We’re humble and always growing. Squadformers is looking for a seasoned Senior Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in React Native to help us build and scale impactful mobile applications. You’ll be part of a high-trust Squad collaborating across product, design, and engineering to ship software that’s clean, performant, and user-centered. You should be comfortable owning end-to-end technical decisions—from architecting app structure to optimizing backend integrations—while mentoring others along the way.What you'll be doing:Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutionsParticipate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectivesCommunicate effectively with team members to ensure alignment and successful project executionContribute to technical discussions and provide valuable insights to drive the evolution of our development practicesWhat we are looking for:6-10+ years experience in mobile engineering (iOS/Android) including leadership roles4+ years of experience building and scaling React Native applications, including a strong understanding of React Native internals, navigation, and performance optimization6+ years of backend experience with Node.js, Express, or other modern server-side frameworks6+ years of experience in JavaScript and TypeScriptStrong proficiency in React.js and frontend technologies, with a focus on building responsive and visually appealing user interfacesProven experience in Java backend development, including the design and implementation of APIs and servicesSolid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and coding standardsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues effectivelyExcellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plusExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsProven track record of successfully executing tasks and projects remotely with minimal supervisionWe value diversity and will review any candidate, anywhere, as long as you can commit to working in the PST time zone (or close to it)Salary: Please note that this is an evergreen posting.
