What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.About the role:Mytra’s Software team is looking for a senior frontend software engineer to develop and scale the user interfaces that enable the users of our system. In this role you will work cross-functionally with software and firmware engineers to develop intuitive, visually compelling, and highly performant UIs that redefine the experience in this industry. Our team is focused on development of functional, reliable, and performant software.Responsibilities:Lead and mentor the development of user interfaces using React, Typescript, Websockets, and other modern web technologiesDevelop automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases and accurate functionalityWork closely with cross-functional partners in robotics and infrastructureDeliver high-quality code in a variety of on-premises and cloud environmentsDesign, implement, test, and document softwareQualifications:Strong experience with common frontend languages, strong recent TypeScript/Javascript experience preferredExperience with React and a deep understanding of its paradigmsExperience with Progressive Web Apps and offline modeExperience developing highly available, high reliability systemsExperience building responsive UIs for a variety of physical devices (i.e. laptops, TVs, iPads)Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, functional testing, etc.Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsSense of ownership and a collaborative approach to developing software within a teamIterative approach to software developmentDesire to continue learning and growingGit experienceA Final Note:You’re encouraged to apply even if you can’t take on every example project in its totality.
