📋 Description
• Lead the design of our centralized data platform built with Dagster, dbt, and Airbyte
• Develop scalable implementations of per-client data platform deployments, with a strong emphasis on reusability and automation
• Own data pipelines (including claims, eligibility, HR, engagement, clinical, and more) connecting clients and vendors
• Troubleshoot data issues and work directly with client/vendor technical teams to resolve discrepancies
• Implement reusable data models and quality frameworks that reduce custom work across clients
• Partner with Product to inform product and AI roadmap

🎯 Requirements
• 6+ years experience in data engineering or similar roles
• 6+ years experience with SQL and Python
• 3+ years experience with dbt and Dagster
• Expert proficiency with modern ETL/ELT tools and practices
• Past experience building data platforms
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, evolving environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data quality issues
• Prior experience developing and leading complex technical projects from end to end
• Preferred: Prior experience in the healthcare, benefits, and/or health insurance sector, and strong familiarity with those concepts
• Preferred: Past experience working in early-stage startups
• Understanding of data exchange protocols (SFTP, APIs, HL7, EDI)
