📋 Description
• Design and implement backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Develop scalable architectures to support integrations with third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, third-party delivery systems, CRMs).
• Own the end-to-end development of backend components — from design to deployment.
• Collaborate directly with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps.
• Guide the technical strategy around API design, versioning, and documentation.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and performance of all backend systems.
• Manage authentication/authorization, security, and data validation across integrations.
• Interface with U.S.-based clients to understand technical needs and deliver quality solutions.
• Contribute to internal best practices around code quality, testing, and CI/CD.

🎯 Requirements
• You must live in LATAM for this fully remote role.
• You must have exceptional English — both written and spoken — if not, this role isn’t for you.
• 4-7+ years of backend development experience, primarily with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Fluent in English (C1 or above) and confident working with U.S.-based clients directly.
• Deep experience integrating and maintaining complex third-party APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of API architecture, authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT), and rate limiting.
• Strong background in database design and management (SQL or NoSQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization (Docker).
• Experience working in production with tools like Insomnia, Postman, OpenAPI, and API monitoring solutions.
• Experience in the media or advertising domains, and experience with streaming video.
• Experience in data analytics, presentation, and dashboards at scale.
• Proficient in testing strategies for backend code (unit, integration, e2e).
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and profiling skills.
• Able to maintain working hours overlapping with US east coast business hours.
• Bonus: exposure to Generative AI / LLM integrations and event-driven architectures.
• Independent, resourceful, and comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.
