📋 Description
• Reporting to the Manager, Gateway Connectivity Services; role to support Availity’s current initiatives\n• Focus on customizations and enhancements to existing products, production support, new implementations, cloud migration, etc. for batch connectivity with customers\n• Mix of back-end Python development, custom scripts maintenance, and cloud migration efforts\n• Location: Remote, US; Sponsorship not available\n• Opportunity to gain exposure to data transfer between customers and Availity systems\n• Involvement with cloud migration using AWS, GitLab, Terraform, Python

🎯 Requirements
• 5+ years of progressive work experience designing and developing solutions for business initiatives\n• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent\n• Proficiency with Python, AWS, GitLab, Terraform; Perl experience a plus\n• Unix shell scripting experience a plus\n• Knowledge of database design principles and query language a plus\n• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Docker, or similar tools for delivery a plus\n• Knowledge of the healthcare industry a plus\n• Prior experience working/contracting at Availity or Florida Blue a plus\n• Designing with microservice architecture; applying Object Oriented Design (OOD) principles\n• Writing technical documentation and gathering technical requirements\n• Writing code to maintain large-scale complex systems; demonstrating development best practices\n• Designing efficient and performant solutions; managing maintainable levels of technical debt\n• Collaborating with Leadership, Product, Security, and Architecture\n• Maintaining composure and professionalism under high-pressure situations; taking initiative and ownership
