📋 Description
• Provide support for software, hardware, and operating system issues, including researching, testing and communicating potential solutions for clients.
• Understand the process of escalating issues to the next level of support within Technology Services.
• Propose changes for system impacts and alternatives (may include changes to processes, applications, file layouts, and web services).
• Extract data from databases by creating new or altering existing SQL queries for analysis, development, testing, and verification.
• Run the code for a Java application in debug mode to determine the cause of an issue, make a recommendation, and hand results to the development team.
• Create and document test cases; assist development teams as needed.
• Review software changes and determine system impact.
• Be flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

🎯 Requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient at extracting data from databases using SQL (basic to complex) and SQL performance optimization
• Knowledge of Object Oriented programming (preferred)
• Basic working knowledge of web services (REST or SOAP)
• Ability to review software changes and assess system impact
• Experience with incident/support ticketing systems and process workflow
• Flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external customers
• Experience with PL/SQL development and Java
