📋 Description
•The Mapping team is responsible for the infrastructure and pipelines that generate and serve the most critical prior required by autonomous vehicle operations: the HD Map.
•We leverage vector priors, onboard detection, and offboard data extraction aggregated across petabytes of AV log data to ensure our autonomy stack operates optimally.
•We manage the end-to-end systems that track map quality, issues, and fixes.
•If you have fullstack experience and are excited about the world of Autonomous Vehicles, if you are skilled at moving quickly without breaking things, and if you like the idea of building new tooling and systems from the ground up, we want you onboard! As a fullstack software engineer, you will contribute to Mapping’s tooling and services, ranging from map visualization and editing systems to pipeline monitoring frameworks.
•Design the architecture and own implementation of Mapping’s service ecosystem.
•Engage in requirements gathering across the company and with external partners to ensure services and frontend solve real problems, efficiently.
•Integrate tightly with our Operations team and external partners to drive a rapid and robust issue reporting to resolution loop.
•Collaborate cross-functionally to drive spatial visualization solutions for the company.
•Set a culture of engineering excellence within the team, working closely with management and customers to balance speed of delivery and quality of engineering artifacts.

🎯 Requirements
•Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.
•Experience: 3+ years of professional software development experience.
•Proficient development skills in Typescript and React or related experience.
•Experience building end-to-end systems.
•Experience developing JavaScript + TypeScript applications.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills for understanding user needs and delivering effective visualization solutions.
