The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who can develop and execute comprehensive data projects that drive measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of project management, marketing and business strategy, leading the development of robust data initiatives that balance both long-term data infrastructure goals and short-term analytical deliverables. What you do Responsible for understanding business objectives and data strategy to develop, implement, and execute comprehensive data project plans Develop cross-functional data strategies that align with organizational goals and data governance policies Includes, but not limited to: project scoping, resource allocation, timeline management, risk assessment, quality assurance frameworks, and compliance protocols Partner with business stakeholders to translate organizational needs into actionable data project objectives Drive innovation in data approaches, incorporating the latest industry trends and best practices Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of data strategy, governance, and delivery, including: Business stakeholders and executives: Foster strong partnerships to understand business needs and data requirements Data engineering and analytics teams: Develop and implement technical frameworks to support project objectives IT and infrastructure teams: Ensure seamless integration of data systems and security protocols Compliance and legal teams: Ensure data projects adhere to regulatory requirements and data protection standards Vendor and technology partners: Develop innovative solutions and evaluate new data technologies Responsible for partnering with senior leadership, data analysts, and business leads to bring proactive thought leadership to data initiatives Who you are Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in data project management, with significant expertise in marketing-led data projects Proven track record of developing and executing successful end-to-end data management projects Experience with data architecture, data modeling, and data quality assurance methodologies Experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) Proficiency with database systems, ETL processes, and data analytics platforms Strong experience with data management technologies (data warehouses, lakes, pipelines, and cloud platforms) Strong experience in data science methodologies (e.g. python) Proven experience taking complex technical concepts and building easy-to-understand presentations for both technical and business audiences Strong presentation, communication, and leadership abilities
