This remote position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys automating and optimizing cloud operations. The role involves monitoring services, responding to incidents, and continuously improving our cloud infrastructure.What You’ll Do:Monitor cloud systems and services using Datadog, SolarWinds DPA, and Azure MonitorTriage and respond to alerts and incidents, performing initial troubleshootingEscalate complex issues to senior engineers or development teams with clear documentationParticipate in post-incident reviews and support root cause analysisMaintain and improve incident response playbooks and runbooksWrite and maintain lightweight scripts to automate operational tasksAssist in provisioning and de-provisioning cloud resources in AzurePerform routine cloud management tasks such as instance resizing and storage configurationEnsure resource tagging, cost optimization, and general cloud hygieneCollaborate with DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to support deployments and operational reliabilityPerform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/companyWhat You’ll Need:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience2+ years of experience supporting SaaS applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred)Experience scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShellFamiliarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and ARM templatesExperience with observability tools like Datadog and SolarWindsUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automationStrong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in remote environmentsAbility to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call scheduleDetail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to solving problemsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentBenefits:Competitive Compensation Package ($90,000 - $113,000 base salary + variable component)Comprehensive Healthcare Coverage (Health, Dental, Vision)Retirement Savings Plan with an Employer ContributionProfessional Development OpportunitiesTime OffWellness InitiativesEmployee Assistance ProgramGenerous Global Parental LeaveCalm, free premium subscriptionEmployee Discount ProgramPlease note that we do not offer sponsorship for this position.Additional InformationAt Elite Technology, we embrace an employee-centric, flexible work model that empowers you to do your best work in the environment that suits you.
