📋 Description
• Integrate our existing systems with exciting new blockchains
• Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, secure applications and data protection systems
• Work on specialized hardware (HSMs) integrations
• Build highly scalable, high volume services
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
• Own, develop and maintain existing crypto services
• Join our Custody team and contribute to the transformation of the digital assets industry at Kraken
• Collaborate with Rust Engineers, cryptographers, hardware aficionados, and on-chain experts
• Contribute towards shaping the future of Kraken Custody’s security

🎯 Requirements
• 5 to 10 years of experience as a backend developer
• Proficiency in Rust, or C++, Go
• Experience with Blockchain daemons such as Bitcoind, Litecoind, or other crypto software
• Strong foundation incryptographic concepts
• Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and GNU/Linux
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and messaging platforms such as Kafka
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security compliance
• Knowledge of scalable application design principles
