We are on a mission to redefine how businesses manage their networks, and we need a talented Website Developer to translate that mission into an engaging and powerful website! About the role We are seeking a Contract Web Developer to own and manage the development and performance of our marketing web properties during a key transition period. This includes our main website built in HTML/PHP/JS and our WordPress-based Help Center and Blog. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Design stakeholders to support feature launches, optimize conversion funnels, and implement website improvements tied to growth. This role is hands-on with a strong development foundation but also invites collaboration on strategy — especially around site UX, performance, SEO, and conversion tracking. Responsibilities Maintain & enhance www.domotz.com (HTML/CSS/JS/PHP), revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content Deploy code via Bitbucket PRs and Heroku environments (test, staging, production) Support marketing campaigns: build and optimize landing pages, trial flows, homepage/promo modules Own WordPress management for the Help Center and Blog (6.7.1): plugin/theme updates, security, layout fixes Optimize web performance (load speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness) Improve SEO + analytics foundation: structured data, meta tags, schema, tracking pixels Enable testing: A/B testing setup, UTM parameters, conversion tracking Work with cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms Own various design tasks involved in the web development life cycle from start to finish 🔧 Tech Stack & Tools HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP WordPress (Blog & Help Center) Bitbucket + Heroku Google Tag Manager, GA4 Figma (design handoff, collaboration with design team) SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs – nice to have) 🙌 Ideal Candidate 3–5+ years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development Comfortable working independently on complex site architecture Strong collaboration skills with marketers and PMMs on fast-turnaround projects Ability to balance speed and quality in delivery Experience with B2B SaaS or PLG environments (preferred) 🎨 Bonus Skills Previous experience in UI/UX design (wireframing, user flows, component consistency) Ability to translate design guidelines into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices ✅ What Success Looks Like Quick turnaround on feature updates and marketing campaign pages Smooth WebOps workflows (test → staging → production) Reliable and responsive site performance during team transition Clear handoff documentation for future internal team ownership 📅 Contract Terms Full-time (40 hours/week) Fixed-term contract (3–6 months) with potential renewal Availability for regular standups and code reviews
