About the job
Travelle is building the world’s first AI-powered “Travel-Verse” — a unified ecosystem that merges AI trip planning, bookings (flights, hotels, cars, cruises, experiences), social inspiration, and immersive itinerary tools into one intelligent platform.

We need someone who understands both travel distribution mechanics and API architecture.
1️⃣ API Qualification & Vetting
-Before engineering touches code:
-Read and assess API documentation
-Validate merchant model (affiliate vs merchant)
-Confirm markup capability
-Review refund & cancellation mechanics
-Assess settlement timing & wallet structures
-Confirm compliance implications (Seller of Travel, ARC/IATA, etc.)
-Identify edge cases before integration

If an API doesn’t match our model, you stop it.

2️⃣ Vendor Communication
You will:
-Speak directly with vendor tech + commercial teams
-Clarify unclear documentation
-Negotiate technical capabilities
-Manage sandbox access
-Handle IP whitelisting, auth setup, webhooks
-Coordinate UAT and production approval

You are the bridge between business and engineering.

3️⃣ Integration Oversight
-Define integration checklists
-Ensure architecture compatibility
-Review rate limits & SLAs
-Validate payload structure
-Ensure data normalization
-Document risks

You Might Be a Fit If You Have:
-Experience integrating OTA or GDS APIs

Worked at or integrated:
-Amadeus
-Sabre
-Travelport
-Expedia Group
-Booking.com
-Understand merchant-of-record vs affiliate structures
-Have experience with trust accounts / Seller of Travel compliance
-Are comfortable reading raw API docs and technical specs
-Can communicate with both CTO-level engineers and supplier account managers

Bonus:
-Experience with travel payments (Stripe, settlement flows)
-Experience with white-label vs embedded distribution
-Experience in early-stage startup environments
