Caddie is hiring on behalf of a venture-backed AI startup building digital workers for financial compliance teams. 



This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the United States.



Our client builds AI-powered digital workers that help banks and fintechs automate compliance workflows. Their product investigates alerts, reviews customers and transactions, and generates audit-ready narratives so compliance teams can move faster with significantly less manual effort.
The founding team has previously built and exited companies, with over $300M in collective value creation. The company has raised $6.2M in seed funding and is scaling the team from 8 to 15. Investors include top-tier venture firms focused on fintech and AI.


This is a core product engineering role with high ownership and direct exposure to the founders. You’ll ship quickly to production and build software used by leading banks and fintechs.


Staff Engineer
Location: Remote (United States)
 Compensation: $200,000 – $350,000 USD base salary
 Equity: $600,000 – $1,000,000 USD (equity value)


What You’ll Do
Own large portions of the product end-to-end
Integrate with external data providers and systems
Build AI agents that interact with customers and internal workflows
Ship new features daily using Python
Make fast, high-impact technical decisions in an early-stage environment
Take calculated risks and iterate quickly
Work closely with founders on architecture and product direction


What We’re Looking For
Exceptional proficiency building full-stack products
Strong judgment and pragmatism when building in early-stage companies
Deep interest in LLMs and rapidly evolving AI capabilities
Curiosity about customer problems and how to solve them with software
Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and agency
Comfort operating with limited structure and high autonomy
