Through our Team + Tech ("People-Powered AI") approach, our platform dynamically creates and manages account structures, identifies and deploys new keywords, and generates winning ad copy automatically, at scale.We are looking for a staff back end software engineer to work on our emerging customer-facing application. This engineer will be someone that cares deeply about quality, business impact, and stability of the systems they build. The projects we need this individual to work on are highly visible and customer-centric.Requirements:8+ years of industry experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as: Python, JavaScript, Ruby, or Go5+ years of experience designing, building, deploying, operating, scaling, testing, and evolving distributed systems3+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead and/or leading an engineering teamKnowledge of distributed systems design and implementation, large scale automation and workflow managementExperience using AWS including services like AWS ECS, Lambda & S3Experience with DevOps and CI/CD in a cloud environmentExperience using monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, Elastic APM, Datadog, and/or PrometheusExperience writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and/or AWS CDKNice to haves:Experience with Google AdWords, Microsoft Advertising or Facebook AdsExperience building Machine Learning systemsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-funded technology startup to solve problems at scale in a fast-paced, growing environment.
