Role Overview

We’re hiring a senior AI engineer to help evolve the systems behind ContextQA’s autonomous QA platform. This is a hands-on role focused on building durable, production-grade AI capabilities rather than research prototypes.


What You’ll Do

Design and improve systems for context ingestion, persistence, and reasoning
Strengthen how AI agents generate, optimize, and execute tests
Improve reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability of AI-driven workflows
Translate long-term architectural direction into incremental, shippable improvements
Collaborate closely with engineering and product to align AI capabilities with customer needs


What Works Well in This Role

Experience building and operating AI-driven systems in production
Strong systems thinking and comfort with distributed architectures
Practical mindset around tradeoffs, failure modes, and cost constraints
Ability to operate with evolving requirements and imperfect inputs
Interest in developer tools, testing platforms, or infrastructure is a plus

This role is central to ContextQA’s long-term vision: building the first truly autonomous AI QA engineer that can reason about software, change, and risk with minimal human input.
You’ll lead the evolution from advanced automation to autonomy—shaping how the system gathers and retains context, understands application behavior, generates meaningful tests, and improves itself over time. The decisions you make will influence the platform’s architecture, intelligence, and competitive differentiation for years.
