About the job
Our client, a high-growth SaaS company, is looking for a 100% Software Engineer interested in working in data engineering and comfortable owning features end to end. You’ll lead the development of user-facing features and collaborate across teams to deliver intuitive, data-driven experiences. 



You will play a major role in helping build a new data warehouse and have your hands in a mix of areas, including data engineering (Snowflake/DBT) and backend development (Go).

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support backend development, especially around data APIs and transformation logic.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean and efficient data integration.
Build dashboards and tools that make complex data accessible.
Work with Salesforce data and integrations.
Ensure observability and performance across distributed systems.
 

Core Competency Requirements

4–6 years of experience in software engineering, with a emphasis in data-centric environments.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake
Experience with backend services (Golang preferred), cloud platforms, and data tools.
Knowledge of data serialization formats (JSON, Protobuf).
Experience with metrics and logging tools (Datadog, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
Strong sense of ownership and ability to work resourcefully.
Familiarity with distributed architectures and service communication.
Exposure to React/TypeScript
 

Nice to Haves

Exposure to microservices and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with frontend performance profiling and optimization.
Experience building CI / CD pipelines.
