This platform will be built from the ground up using Open SQL and modern development technologies, with a strong emphasis on data security, HIPAA compliance, and user experience. In this role, you will play a critical part in architecting and implementing a mission-critical system that enhances client engagement while meeting the highest standards for healthcare data protection. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement a secure customer portal using Open SQL and related technologies Lead and contribute to platform architecture decisions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security Build and maintain secure database structures to manage sensitive medical and patient data in compliance with HIPAA Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to deliver an intuitive and user-friendly client experience Partner with security, compliance, and project management teams to ensure adherence to privacy and security best practices Develop APIs and integration layers to support interoperability with internal and external systems Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, database schemas, and security protocols Perform code reviews, testing, and vulnerability assessments to maintain platform integrity Support deployment, debugging, and ongoing enhancements to the platform Qualifications 5+ years of professional experience in software or web development Strong proficiency in Open SQL and database development Deep understanding of data security principles, encryption, and access control Experience working with HIPAA-compliant systems or handling PHI (Protected Health Information) Proficiency in backend development using Python, Java, or C# Familiarity with RESTful API design and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
