Software Engineer - Systematic Trading 



We’re working with a systematic commodities trading firm operating across global futures markets (energy-heavy), looking to add a full-stack software engineer to a small, highly technical trading team.


This is a hands-on engineering role sitting directly alongside researchers and traders. You’ll own meaningful parts of the platform end-to-end, from distributed systems and AWS infrastructure through to Python data / ML workflows and modern front-end applications.


What you’ll be working on

Core trading & research platforms used daily by quants and traders
Distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS)
Python-based data pipelines and ML tooling
Clean, modern front ends supporting research and execution workflows


What they’re looking for

Strong software engineer with experience across backend + frontend
Comfort working in performance-sensitive, production systems
Python experience essential; cloud and distributed systems exposure
Background in trading, finance, or complex real-time systems is a plus
