This 12x award winning company is hiring a Software Engineer to be the right hand of the engineering Lead. This is a high trajectory role where you'll grow into a leadership position and play a vital part in scaling their AI driven systems, improving developer velocity and directly impacting the mission to transform lives!


In this role you'll be:


Implementing backend infrastructure for AI-driven features and company-wide AI adoption.
Building and maintaining APIs for web and mobile applications.
Optimizing backend performance and reliability.
Enhancing automation and testing frameworks to improve developer velocity.

We are looking for:


3 - 5 years of experience as a backend engineer (approx 3yrs with Python)
Experience at a startup (Series D or earlier) during a growth phase (increase in employees, funding, or revenue)
Experience with and excitement to use AI tools like Cursor, Devin, Windsurf, Codeium, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini
Work history demonstrates rapid promotions / high slope
D2C experience (nice to have)
Experience with Javascript, AWS, IaC - Terraform, Postgres
Willing to spend 25% of time on frontend + infra
