This engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and validating software for UAS flight control, ground systems, telemetry, and simulation environments. The ideal candidate brings strong C++/C# experience and a background in embedded or real-time systems that power autonomous flight. REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or related field Proficient in C++ and C#, with experience in real-time or embedded systems Understanding of UAS platforms or autonomous systems Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Experience with multithreaded development, message buses, or network protocols (UDP, TCP, MAVLink, DDS) U.S. Citizen eligible for DoD security clearance DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Experience developing or integrating UAS simulation environments (e.g., PX4, JSBSim, Gazebo, SITL) Knowledge of DevOps pipelines and Agile software development Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitLab Experience working with sensors, payloads, or telemetry data Exposure to avionics systems, flight controllers, or hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) testing Active DoD clearance is a plus
