The team is expanding its engineering group and is seeking a Software Engineer with strong applied AI experience to architect and scale the core intelligence layer powering the product. This role provides the opportunity to work on challenging technical problems at the intersection of structured data, retrieval pipelines, multi-agent systems, and human decision support. Utilize cutting edge tooling including vector search, multi agent frameworks, and fine tuned LLMs. Direct influence. Collaborate closely with founders and senior engineers to define product and engineering strategy. What You Will Do Architect and deploy AI driven systems for candidate ranking, recruiter assistive agents, and workflow automation. Build RAG pipelines integrating LLMs, embeddings, retrieval layers, structured data, and classification models. Implement tuning, prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and continuous improvement systems for production models. Develop internal tooling for monitoring performance, latency, accuracy, bias, and user signal feedback loops. Work with backend engineering to optimize ingestion pipelines, enrichment workflows, and internal knowledge graph structures. Contribute to core platform engineering including APIs, distributed compute, and scalable data architecture. What You Bring 4 to 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including 2 or more years working with AI or ML systems. Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or Go. Experience with LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, and modern ML frameworks. Understanding of retrieval augmented generation, multi agent systems, or model tuning. Experience building production systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure. Comfort operating in a fast moving environment with high ownership and autonomy.
