What You’ll Be Doing: Design, build, and implement new web components and product featuresAnalyze and optimize client-side UI code for efficiency and performanceWork with React/HTML/CSSCoordinate tasks with your teammates and collaborate with the entire company to refine requirements to deliver the best product to our customersOwn the A/B testing framework and be the go to person for running experiments on the webIdentify and squash bugsAnalyze and optimize our SEO profile and core web vitalsParticipate in an on call rotationRequirements:3+ years of software engineering experience2+ years experience in Javascript/Typescript frameworks such as React or Angular, and related tooling (NPM, Webpack, Eslint, Redux, etc.)Passion for A/B testing, rapid prototyping and creative collaborationFamiliarity with the entire stack - web servers, the application layer, caching, databasesExperience with responsive layouts and frameworks such as SassAbility to communicate technical concepts and limitations with non-technical stakeholdersStrong sense of ownership with experience self-managing your workload and communicating updates to stakeholders Self-motivation and a deep sense of pride in your workCuriosity, humility, and open-mindednessPassion about web technologies and AllTrails’ mission to connect people to the outdoors AI Native: You naturally incorporate AI tools to enhance your work.
