Prominent is assisting our client find a Software Development Engineer specializing in Azure DevOps pipeline development designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains DevOps systems, applications, networks, and/or telecom and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Preference given to candidates residing in or within a commutable distance to Greenwood Village, Colorado; strong consideration given to candidates in or within a commutable distance to Omaha, NE, Berkeley Heights, NJ, Frisco, TX. Remote may be possible for a ‘rock star’! The Software Development Engineer:
Assesses system, application, network, and/or telecom needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies. 
Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions. 
Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project. 
Assigns resources and delegates tasks to meet project deliverables.

Potential candidates will need to have the ability to work W2 on Prominents’ payroll during the contract period.



 Requirements:

5+ years recent hands-on Azure DevOps pipeline development experience
5+ years fulltime agile (SAFe preferably) methodology experience. 
Ability to travel to client sites every couple of months. 
Strong familiarity with Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) helpful 
Good experience with Terraform is a plus
Strong experience with writing Azure DevOps pipelines with either YAML or Python, familiarity with Azure GovCloud regions, Federal govt ZeroTrust security architecture, and strong familiarity with the numerous Azure platforms and infrastructure resources available.




 Anticipated pay range in the $67-74/hr range.
