Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer

Remote (must be based on EST or CST time zone)

170-220k base + equity

US Citizen required



We’re looking for an experienced DevOps professional to help build and scale modern cloud infrastructure for a fast-growing tech product. You’ll work with a small, high-ownership engineering team and have end-to-end responsibility for infrastructure, deployments, and reliability.


Key Responsibilities

Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support high-frequency deployments.
Deploy and operate Kubernetes-based environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability systems for production services.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize performance, security, and cost efficiency.


Qualifications

5+ years in DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure roles, including senior-level ownership.
Deep hands-on experience with Terraform or equivalent Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
Proven experience running distributed systems in production with CI/CD tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Familiarity with observability, security best practices, and compliance standards.
