Job Description:   
Term: 6+ Months 
Location: Seattle, WA or Remote 
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00/hour commensurate with experience 
Hours: Standard business hours  
  
The Senior Software Engineer delivers service layer solutions using the .Net technology stack and leveraging the AWS cloud. They create new services and enhance existing ones to deliver value to our customers.
The service teams create and maintain the API’s and underlying service architecture that power our websites, external API’s and internal operations. As a member of these teams, you will be creating new services to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers as well as optimizing existing ones to meet increasing customer demand and to take advantage of new technologies.

Deliver enterprise service solutions using the latest .Net and cloud technologies
Optimize the existing enterprise service layer for performance, reliability and flexibility
Focus on delivery with speed and quality
Assess the impact of your features to iterate and improve
Work in a highly collaborative agile environment

You flourish in a team environment, collaborating with other engineers and product development to understand business problems and drive technology solutions. 
B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent background
4+ years of experience designing and building enterprise services that are reliable and scalable
Significant .Net and C# experience
Strong understanding of SOA, HTTP, Web Services, and related technologies
Proven understanding of performance, availability, scalability, and security considerations
Proven ability to apply design patterns and best practices to design and develop complex, backend applications
Experience with agile software development methodologies and practices
Eagerness to explore and apply new software development approaches
Experience with AWS a plus
