Job Description: We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team developing Replicant’s Conversation Intelligence product, our latest product that helps customers analyze all their conversations to learn how they can improve internal processes and provide an intuitive UI for coaching support agents. We need someone who can build out new features, collaborate with team members to refactor code, debug issues, and support a production environment that is actively used by customers. Our stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Python in Kubernetes on GCP.

What You’ll Do

Build new features for Replicant’s Conversation Intelligence product

Refactor, optimize, and debug existing code

Provide code reviews and lead technical projects

Participate in regular on-call rotations for the team, with responsibilities such as monitoring metrics, triaging alerts, and responding to issues

Use metrics and your team's collective experience to drive development decisions

Collaborate with your team to manage and prioritize work through a rigorous, yet lightweight, agile process

Share your passion for learning about technical topics with your team and peers

Identify and drive the adoption of best practices and design patterns in your team

What You’ll Bring

You have excellent communication skills

You have experience building customer facing user interfaces

You have experience working in live production environments

You have lead technical projects

You have desire to learn and work across our team’s entire tech stack

You have experience writing production Typescript

You have experience working with the React framework

You likely have at least 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining customer facing product features

Experience with LLM prompt tuning is a plus, but not required

Experience writing production Python is a plus, but not required

Experience working with Google Cloud Services is a plus, but not required

Experience working with Kubernetes is a plus, but not required
