Role: Staff/Senior Software Engineer

Work setup: Remote in U.S.

Salary: $150k - $300k base

About the role:

We're looking for a Senior to Staff level Software Engineer to help lead development on our core platform. You'll be shipping production code on day one, owning features end-to-end, and working closely with the team to build the infrastructure that powers the future of home lending.



What You'll Work On

Build and launch complex, multi-step AI agents that automate mortgage operations workflows
Integrate with third-party lending APIs for document generation, automated underwriting, and fraud prevention
Architect and scale our job processing infrastructure on AWS
Develop full-stack features from design through deployment
Contribute to a highly reliable, observable, low-maintenance infrastructure

What We're Looking For:

**Must-haves:**

Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills with examples of complex systems built hands-on
Proven track record of shipping real products end-to-end
Experience building full-stack web features in a fast-moving environment
AWS infrastructure experience
Ability to design and scale complex relational DB schemas
SRE mindset — you care about reliability, observability, and low operational overhead

- Familiarity with AI product development (evals, experiment design, dataset curation)

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

- Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems
