Founding Engineer - AI Platforms

A venture-backed startup is looking for a Founding Engineer to join a small team building a next-generation platform focused on AI-driven automation and intelligent workflows.



The core product is out in the market and gaining traction. The focus now is on shipping remaining core functionality, improving performance, and scaling the platform as adoption grows.



This is a true builder role in a fast-moving environment where engineers have real ownership over the product and technical direction.



You’ll work closely with the founding team and play a key role in shaping both the technology and product roadmap.



What You'll Work On

Building and shipping core product features
Developing automation and workflow systems
Integrating AI-powered functionality
Designing and improving backend services and APIs
Helping scale the platform’s cloud infrastructure
Collaborating directly with leadership on technical strategy


The team currently works across a modern full-stack environment that includes technologies such as:

JavaScript / TypeScript
Modern frontend frameworks
Backend services in Node.js or Python
API development and workflow automation
AI / LLM integrations
Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar)


Ideal Background

Strong full-stack engineering experience
Experience building scalable production systems
Comfortable working in early-stage startup environments
Interest in AI-enabled products and automation
Ability to operate with high ownership and minimal bureaucracy
