Senior Software Engineer (Remote - US/Canada)
? Compensation: $170k–$210k USD / $160k–$180k CAD + Equity
? Location: Remote (US/Canada only)

A mission-driven team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help scale the core infrastructure of a fast-growing visual collaboration platform used by scientists and researchers. This is a full-time role focused on backend-heavy full-stack development, reliability, and scalability. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, design, and data to ship high-impact features and shape the technical roadmap.

What You’ll Do:

Own and evolve key components of a modern SaaS platform

Design secure integrations with third-party tools and services

Build internal tools for enterprise user management

Champion code quality, scalability, and maintainability

Provide mentorship within a collaborative engineering culture

What We’re Looking For:

7+ years full-stack experience (Node.js + modern JS frameworks like React)

Strong backend and cloud infrastructure expertise (AWS preferred)

Proven experience scaling complex, customer-facing SaaS products

Interest in AI applications within product development

Excellent communication and a user-first mindset

Bonus: Background at top tech/startups (FAANG, VC-backed) or top 50 CS degree
